PAZZITO LIBRON & JASPER TANASAN
Gun for Hire Group

          Pursuant to the instructions of the Honorable Secretary to monitor and undertake enforcement action against organized crime groups, our men/women in the various field offices proactively engaged such syndicates. Leading the way is our Agents/Investigators of our Dumaguete District Office (DUMDO) recently neutralized the Gun-for-Hire Group of PAZZITO LIBRON & JASPER TANASAN

          Hence, the undersigned is respectfully submitting this executive summary for the purpose of informing and updating her Honor.

          In the early morning of January 29, 2012, acting on the strength of a search warrant, combined forces of NBI & PNP (Task Force Enigma) raided the residences of PAZZITO LIBRON and JASPER TANASAN located in Bayawan City, Negros Oriental. Seized there from were several firearms, numerous ammunitions and a grenade. This group, operating mainly in Southern Negros Oriental, is believed to be responsible for several unsolved killings, including the failed ambush on Atty. VICTORINO ALABASTRO. While awaiting trial of their case [For Illegal Possession of Firearms (RA 8294)/Illegal Possession of Explosives (RA 9516)], Subjects LIBRON & TANASAN are presently detained at the Bayawan BJMP. Moreover, five (5) suspects in the attempted slay of Atty. ALABASTRO were arrested by the NBI and PNP.
