EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

ARDEN VALDEVIESO – Violation of RA 9165 and PD 1866

            On August 16, 2012, NBI-REGION XI (Davao City) applied a Search Warrant in the premises of ARDEN VALDEVIESO located at 4th corner A Street, Phase 1, Escoland Subdivision Davao City. The application was based on the information that was verified and proven that Subject is using and maintaining his premises as a drug den.

            At about 11:30 in the evening of August 17, 2012, Operatives of NBI-Region XI served the Search Warrant in the presence of locally elected Officials and members of the media in accordance with the provision of RA 9165. Found seized and confiscated are (1) cal. 45 pistol, (13) live Cal. 45 ammunition, (12) live 9mm ammunition, (21) plastic sachets with crystalline residue, (1) tooter w/ crystalline residue, (2) magazines for cal. 45, (2) magazines for 9mm, (155) live cal. 7.62 ammunition, (319) live cal 30 ammunition, (1) cal. 22 Revolver and other paraphernalia for the use of SHABU.

           Subject VALDEVIESO is the son of the former Mayor of Matalam, North Cotabato and they own the WEENA BUS Company that travels Davao to Cotabato City.

            On August 22, 2012, Subject ARDEN VALDEVIESO was charged on Inquest before the Office of the City Prosecutor of Davao for Violation of RA 9165 docketed as IS#XI-02-1100-12-14-01211 and Violation of PD 1866 as amended docketed as IS#XI-02-1100-12-14-0210.
