EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

SPEEDY SOLUTION TO A DEATH INVESTIGATION

     

          Last 12 March 2012, NBI-Region XI (Davao City) operatives, by virtue of a search warrant, raided the premises of BENDO DATAN and confiscated ‘shabu’ thereat.  Subject DATAN was later charged for violation RA 9165 before the Inquest Prosecutor.  After his temporary release, Accused DATAN believing that it was his competitor (in the illegal drugs trade) ALVIN MANISCAN who squealed on him to the NBI raid, verbally threatened to kill ALVIN MANISCAN.

          True enough, in the evening of April 15, 2012 and in the vicinity of Tibungco, Davao City, ALVIN MANISCAN was stabbed by two (2) unidentified men – one of them who was later arrested by our Agents, was identified as BAN MADAGMIT y SILVA.  His cohort, who is still at large, is known only as “PASAY”.  On the following day (April 16, 2012), Subject BAN MADAGMIT was charged for MURDER on Inquest before the City Prosecutor’s Office.
